This paper presents results using a plug and play directly georeferenced aerial mapping system consisting of an Applanix POS AVX 210, a Phase One iXU 150 camera with an 80mm lens and the NanoTrack FMS to produce highly accurate orthorectified imagery without Ground Control Points (GCPs).
This paper presents an error analysis for the airborne direct georeferencing technique, where integrated GPS/IMU positioning and navigation systems are used in conjunction with aerial cameras for airborne mapping.
