Users installing POSPac MMS 9.1 are asked to uninstall previous versions of POSPac and Software Licence Utility (SLU) before installing this latest release. Note that the SLU is a separate entry in Windows Add/Remove Programs and so this must be uninstalled independently.

Users not eligible to upgrade to POSPac 9.1, or those who do not wish to upgrade at this time, are recommended to install the standalone Software License Utility (SLU) 9.1. Ensure that the Client and Server are both running the same version of Software License Utility. The software license utility must be installed as an administrator.

POSPac v9.1 now supports the EGM2008 geoid. Users who wish to utilize the EGM2008 geoid can download the geoid file here. Please unzip the file and place it in the C:\ProgramData\Applanix\Geoids\ directory.

Customers under POSPac maintenance agreements with Applanix may upgrade free of charge.

Upgrade paths to POSPac MMS v9.1 differ for customers running USB key licenses and for those running software licenses.

For software license users:

The upgrade function is enabled only when running a standalone license or a locally managed network license, i.e. from the license server computer. Please also ensure the license computer has internet access

Download and install POSPac MMS v9.1 (or POSPac MMS v9.1 Standalone Software License Utility) as an administrator
Open the Software License Utility 9.1 from the POSPac -> Help Menu (or from Start -> All Programs -> Applanix -> SoftwareLicenseUtility)
Click Upgrade License (ensure Upgrade License is set to 9.1)

For USB key ("dongle") users:

To retrieve a USB license upgrade code for POSPac v9.1, please access the following link with your USB Key Serial Number
