In support of Applanix' commitment to providing exceptional business-to-customer communication and sales service, we are pleased to announce two new additions to our sales team.

Brad Ysseldyk has joined our sales team as a Sales Manager for the America's, Land Products, and will report to Eric Liberty, Director of Sales.  In his most recent role as Sales Manager - Europe and Africa with Skywave Mobile Communication Incorporated, Brad was responsible for establishing and increasing sales, and developing a value added reseller network to facilitate growth.  Brad has over 10 years of laser scanning hardware and software sales experience and over 5 years of product and sales management experience.  He holds a B.SC from University of Western Ontario and is working towards the completion of his  MBA.

Jesus Ruiz Jimenez has joined the sales team in the position of Regional Account & Business Development Manager, Airborne Products Europe, also reporting to Eric Liberty, Director of Sales.  With more that 12 years of business development experience in technology sectors in Europe and Latin America, Jesus brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills in sales and marketing functions.  In his most recent position as Regional Sales Manager with Magellan Navigation based in Nantes, France, he developed a strong understanding of Geomatics and the Mobile Mapping industry.  He increased sales by 25% by developing indirect and direct sales channels in the Land/Marine Surveying, GIS and OEM markets.  In 2 previous roles he held the position of Senior Business Strategist, Latin America with Tyco Fire and Security, and Business Development Manager with Bechtel/United Utilities.  He holds a MBA from the ManchesterBusinessSchool and a BSC in Civil Engineering.

These appointments ensure our continued global commitment to Applanix's customers and reinforce our pledge to lead the Mobile Mapping and Positioning industry.  We welcome Brad and Jesus to our sales team.
