Applanix Sets POS MV Upgrade Record

RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO – Applanix Corporation is pleased to announce that upgrades for the company’s Position and Orientation Systems (POS) for Marine Vessels (MV) increased a dramatic 61 percent over the previous year, setting a new company record. Applanix’ POS MV and POS MV WaveMaster marine solutions are designed for use with multibeam sonar systems, enabling adherence to IHO (International Hydrographic Survey) standards on sonar swath widths of greater than ± 75 degrees under all dynamic conditions.
