Applanix Releases POSPac LAND 5.0, a New Post-Processing Software Specifically Designed for Land-Based Applications

RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO - Applanix announced today the release of its latest data post-processing software specifically developed for the challenges of land-based mobile survey operations—POSPac LAND 5.0.

Configured for use with its industry-leading POS LV (Position and Orientation System – Land Vehicles), the new software is designed to take advantage of the powerful, tightly-coupled inertial/GPS engine to provide new levels of performance while operating in a land environment.

Tatyana Bourke, Applanix’ POSPac Product Manager explained. "It is a major step forward over our previous software product. By generating reliable and repeatable results under the most difficult GPS conditions, such as surveying in dense urban areas, the software sets a new industry standard for data post-processing. The modular software is a processing suite which offers multi-mission project capability. Combined with Wizard setup options, major enhancements for fast ambiguity resolution and inertial cycle slip detection, it is a powerful yet easy-to-use mobile mapping solution.
