Applanix Appoints New European Regional Sales Manager

RICHMOND HILL, CANADA - Applanix is delighted to announce the appointment of Rainer Pallaske to the position of Regional Sales Manager, Europe.

Rainer's extensive Geomatics industry experience, particularly in the fields of photogrammetry, GIS and remote sensing, will be focused on the continued expansion of Applanix airborne and land-based Position and Orientation Systems (POS) into the European market.

Rainer joins Applanix from Leica Geosystems GIS and Mapping, where he was the Regional Director for Central Europe. Prior positions have included academic posts with University Oldenburg and Deutsche Montan Technologie (DMT).

With past technical sales and management experience in geodesy and applied informatics, this appointment ensures the continued first class commitment to Applanix' European customer base, and reinforces the company's standing as the leader in integrated inertial technology.
