Applanix today announced the release of its latest GPS/Inertial system for aerial survey applications, the POS AV 210

RICHMOND HILL, CANADA - Dieter Zeuner is the sales manager at Applanix. In making the announcement he reported: "POS AV 210 is a great development and addition to our already unique and successful POS AV product line. This latest advancement in POS AV technology has resulted in a turn-key, integrated GPS/inertial system for airborne remote sensing. Being a lower cost unit, it will have the greatest appeal to our customers whose applications of POS requires less orientation accuracy but still demand excellent position accuracy – especially in low altitude applications. POS AV 210 opens a new series of market opportunities for Applanix and expanded access to accurate sensing systems in many new markets."

The POS AV 210 will be among the products and systems being presented by Applanix at the ISPRS, July 16 – 23 in Amsterdam.
